Mosebach Neutral Grounding Resistors are designed to be used in Industrial
Power Systems for added protection
against ground fault currents. In the event
of a ground fault, the fault current is
limited to a safe value by means of
Mosebach's WeldlessWeave™ resistors.
Designed and tested in accordance with
IEEE Standard 32-1972.
ENCLOSURE DESCRIPTION:
The Neutral Grounding Resistor will be
placed in outdoor rated NEMA 3R, heavyduty,
aluminized steel enclosure with
provisions for easy lifting and maneuvering
(fork lift or crane).
RESISTIVE LOAD ELEMENTS:
Our WeldlessWeave™ resistors are made
of stainless steel and used for this application.
WeldlessWeave™ technology utilizes a
continuous ribbon to eliminate all welds. By
eliminating welds, hot spots are eliminated.
To reduce the operating temperature, no
thru bolts are used, and a parallel element
system reduces the watt density. Finally, our
resistors are designed to withstand vibration,
and breakable parts are not used. All this
results in the maximum operating life of our
resistors.
RATING: 10 seconds with a temperature
rise of 760° C
MOUNTING: Intended for permanent
outdoor installation

enclosure
