PortaBank™ PBX295 is a new, lightweight addition to Mosebach's load bank family.

The PortaBank™ PBX295 is a continuous duty, portable, lightweight load bank that is easily transported, set up and operated by one technician.

The PortaBank™ PBX295 can be used for testing generators, UPS systems and static inverters up to 295 kW.

Standard voltages available are 480/240/208 3 phase, 240/120 1 phase, and 50/60 Hz. A 400 Hz option is also available.

Mosebach has a long history in the rail and mining industries, where its resistors are used in large power (4,000 kW typical) dynamic brake systems. Thousands of our resistors are used daily in locomotives and giant mining trucks in the USA and around the world.

Mosebach has taken its expertise in large power resistors and applied it to these smaller power load banks. Specifically, we have developed the SlimLine™ resistor, which has superior insulation and heat transfer capabilities. The resistor eno ceramic to shatter, no metal rods to shortcircuit, and no bailing wire to cause a cascade failure of the load bank's resistors.lement is a stamped stainless steel plate held in place with mica insulators. FEATURES:

Mechanical
· Rugged steel enclosure with scratch resistant powder-coat paint system.
· Portable, lightweight construction with casters and lift truck channels make it easy to
  maneuver.
· 4 glove-ready handles for moving and lifting.

Electrical
· Digital meter (50/60 Hz) to indicate volts, amps, kW, frequency, and more. Option for
  400 Hz or both 50/60 and 400. Option for data logging capability.
· Voltage detection system ensures that the load bank auto-connects itself to match
  the applied voltage.
· Switches for system on/off, blowers on/off, and steps on /off.
· Test jacks for voltages.
· Airflow and overtemperature indication lamps.
· Steps are controlled by magnetic contactors.
· Power circuit fuses (optional).
· Control power by customer: 120V, 1 phase, 15A. Control circuit fuses are included to
  protect fans, contactor coils, meter.
· Customer connection is via cam-lock terminals for easy and safe connect and   disconnect.

Cooling
· High-speed axial fans, 120V, blowing horizontally.

Resistors
SlimLine™ resistors consisting of a stamped stainless steel plate held in place with mica
insulators. 2-year warranty.
